Following on the success of the EvoLux brand launch, the EarthLED EvoLux R LED Light bulb adds an innovative three stage dimming function called EvoDim.
EvoDim allows for maximum energy conservation by allowing the user to cycle the bulb through three different output settings (250 Lumen, 750 Lumen, 950 Lumen) simply by rapidly switching the bulb on and off. The EvoLux R effortlessly goes from a room filling light all the way to a night light with a turn or flip of a switch. There is no need for a dimmer switch as EvoDim turns every fixture into a dimmable fixture instantly. Please note the EvoLux R will not function with wall mounted or touch sensitive lamps.
In addition to the EvoLux R’s additional energy saving properties provided by EvoDim, it still provides the core features that have made the EvoLux a success:
- No Mercury, Lead or other hazardous substances. Completely RoHs Compliant.
- Cooler Operation – EvoLux bulbs operate in a thermally efficient manner as well. After just two minutes of use a 100 watt incandescent is already close to 280 degrees F while a CFL is a 160 degrees. Under the same conditions our EvoLux is only 84 degrees. This ensures further energy savings from a reduction in latent heat induced cooling costs and provides another level of household safety.
- Longer Life – The EvoLux can also offer the prospect of a much longer lifespan than CFL products. Many consumers are finding out that inexpensive CFL bulbs offer only a fraction of the lifespan that they are advertised to have, this is often caused by inconsistencies in manufacturing and large tolerance ranges.
EvoLux Sh & EvoLux Rh – Special Reduced Height Form Factor
In addition to the EvoLux R, Advanced Lumonics is also launching new form factors allowing users to install EvoLux bulbs in a wider variety of applications.
The EvoLux Sh and EvoLux Rh provide the same great performance in a package that is 2 inches shorter. This allows the EvoLux to be placed in areas such as ceiling fans with globe diffusers, floor lamps or anywhere else where length is an issue.
New Bayonet B22 Base Available
All EvoLux products are now available in Bayonet Cap (B Type 22) fitting to suit international applications. This allows the EvoLux to be adopted by markets where E Type Screw fittings are not prevalent.
EvoFixture
The final addition to the EvoLux family is the EvoFixture, a unique carrier system that allows the placement of an EvoLux inside and create an instant recessed lighting fixture. The EvoFixture allows you to use the advanced performance of the EvoLux in recessed lighting applications with no hassle and minimal cost. While the EvoLux consumes only 13 watts, it provides room filling light equivalent to that of a 100 watt incandescent. The EvoLux also contains an advanced active cooling system making it the coolest running light bulb in the world. This advanced thermal management also allows the bulb to run reliably for over 50,000 hours.
